I’m happy to announce a new prototype that I have been working on over the last month. It’s called Rayclops : Submarine Architect. As you might have guessed, it’s about building submarines and then exploring the vast and largely unknown ocean depths. But that’s not all, it also will feature a contracts system that allow the player to pick and choose what they enjoy doing.
Are you a science and exploration person? Take those contracts and explore the depths. Maybe you like more action? Try your hand at mercenary missions with combat will keep you on your toes. Or do you just need some extra cash? Do some deep sea salvage or construct a deep ocean mineral extraction rig.
After you’ve created the perfect boat, upload and share your creations with others via a built in workshop. The game has also been designed from ground up to be easy to mod with data file formats in XML.
